Glamping tärnö

Embark on a very special glamping adventure where you get the opportunity to enjoy a magnificent Blekinge, on an island with your own jetty and beach. Enjoy sun-kissed cliffs, take a dip in the ocean or put your feet up on the jetty and enjoy the tranquility.

When you wake up in the morning, a delicious breakfast basket awaits you. Later you paddle your canoe to the nearby island of Tärnö, a picturesque little gem in the Blekinge archipelago. Explore the island, walk to the lighthouse which is Sweden’s oldest wooden lighthouse and is still in use. From the mountain you can look out over the beautiful Hanö Bay. When you return, a picknick lunch will be served at a place of your choice. At 16.00, it’s time for your next adventure where you will go out with a fishing boat and try net fishing – an old, Swedish fishing tradition. Later that evening, a three-course dinner will be delivered to your tent – hopefully with your catch of the day!

Day 1. : tärnö glamping

Arrive at Matvik where you will be picked up by boat for a wonderful trip out to your private glamping tent. Make yourself at home and maybe take a dip in the ocean and admire the beautiful view. In the evening, we offer a wonderful barbecue basket with the best of Swedish summer products for dinner (meat or veggo), which you prepare yourself over the open fire. End the evening with a beautiful sunset and recharge your batteries for tomorrow’s adventure.

Day 2. : fyren tärnö

In the morning take a dive into the water directly from your glamping tent. At 8 o’clock a lovely breakfast basket arrives to be enjoyed. A tasty breakfast with freshly baked bread, eggs, juice and yoghurt awaits you. Take the morning as it comes and a little later you can take your canoes and paddle over to nearby Tärnö (15 min). Here you will be met by staff who deliver a wonderful picnic lunch to be enjoyed at your choice of location. The staff will tell you about hidden gems you can visit, for example; trekking to the lighthouse which is Sweden’s oldest wooden lighthouse and is still in use. From the mountain you can look out over the beautiful Hanö Bay and large parts of the Blekinge archipelago.

Later day 2. : Garnfiske Blekinge

At 16.00 it’s time for your next adventure where you will go out with a fishing boat and try net fishing – an old, Swedish fishing tradition. At 19.00, a three-course dinner will be delivered to your tent, hopefully with your catch of the day.

Later day 2. : Blekinge

Enjoy the sunset before falling asleep under the stars. Magical!

Day 3. : Blekinge Eka

Enjoy breakfast and morning dip before leaving for home or for further adventures. The boat will pick you up at 12 noon.

Wildlife in the Blekinge Archipelago: Havsörn

With a little luck, you may have the chance to see one of Blekinge’s sea eagles sailing in the winds above. They are actually much larger than you may think. In Blekinge, 88 sea eagles were recently counted, which is a good sign of a prosperous tribe.
