There is something very special about Africa, something that many travelers experience as being born again, and which revives the romance! The vast landscapes, the wild nature, lions and giraffes, the feeling of being in the cradle of man – this is a romantic holiday destination like not many others. Long, white beaches, dramatic peninsulas and romantic coastal resorts are the ideal cocktail for those who want to enjoy each other and life. Spend time exploring the bush on foot, take a jeep safari, explore the countryside in a hot air balloon or just relax one in the pool overlooking a local watering hole. The South African coast offers thousands of kilometers of pristine beaches and romantic experiences.

Detta program är en inspirationskälla – varje resa är unik och skräddarsys för dig.
Day 1: CT4

Arrival in Cape Town and private transfer to the hotel, Four Rosemead Hotel which is nicely located at the end of Table Mountain. The hotel overlooks Cape Town.

Day 2 - 3: Boulders-bay_iZdcohZ

* Table Mountain Cable Way goes from the foot of the mountain and up to the top, a spectacular experience with the most beautiful views.

* Robben Island: Robben Island is the island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years!

* Township Cultural Tours: A fantastic opportunity to see the city’s townships (or in the good Danish slums). But here is more than poverty and problems, which your local guide can tell you about. Maybe you eat a good meal here at a typical small restaurant called a “sheebeen”. An experience that puts your / our own life  in perspective.

* District Six Museum: Get to know more about life in South Africa during apartheid.

* Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope.

* Boulders Beach: Penguin Colonies.

* Hout Bay: Boat trip to the seal colony

* Cape Peninsula: A world famous botanical area with impressive wildlife. Here you can see baboons, ostriches, bontebok antelope, lots of birds and maybe even whales.

* Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Day 4 - 5: Picture6

Breakfast and goodbye to this wonderful hotel. Now the trip must go to the wine districts and the next accommodation. Between high mountains lies the Franschhoek Valley. This is the heart of South Africa’s wine culture, where you grow wine and develop local gastronomy – this is truly something for connoisseurs. You will experience a beautiful landscape, genuine hospitality, world-class gastronomy and exquisite wines. The beautiful vineyards cover the landscape of the area where French Huguenots settled for over 300 years. With them from France, they brought with them the food culture and knowledge of making wine. You check in at the Spier Hotel, which is in the middle of it all.

Day 6: thanda-lioness-copyright-christian-sperka-20130904-cs3-78561.jpg.1024×0

After a delicious breakfast in Stellenbosch, the trip goes back to Cape Town and later by plane to Thanda Private Game Reserve. Thanda is even more than a luxury lodge and more than a fantastic safari experience – here you get an authentic wilderness experience combined with a meeting with the Zulu culture and not least a meeting with people who really take nature and the wild animals seriously. Thanda means “love” in the Zulu language.

Day 7: leoprad-thanda

Enjoy amazing experiences during your safari! Safaris in the morning or late afternoon are the best times to go out. Here you get close to nature, all scents and you feel how Africa permeates you.
See if you can see all the “The Big Five” (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo). You may also see members of the “Little Five” (jumping mouse, rhinoceros beetle, leopard turtle, ant lion and the red-billed buffalo weaver). Your guides are trained rangers and experts and they will tell and show you things in nature, tell about adventures and local legends and guide you into a fascinating world.

Day 8 - 13: rocktail-rum

Breakfast at Thanda for onward journey to Rocktail Bay. Rocktail Beach Camp is located in the lush, tropical shade of the Maputaland Coastal Forest with the Maputaland Marine
Reserve just outside. This reserve is a haven for marine life with exceptional opportunities for diving or snorkeling. Here you will meet countless fish, dolphins and whales. The lodge also offers the most beautiful beaches. the location is a short distance from the coast in the lush coastal forest, which covers the ancient sand dunes that together form this part of the coast. Here you can enjoy life as it should be enjoyed.
