Come as a guest, leave as a friend ”is the slogan used by the small beach hotel here at Diani Beach. Here you get adventurous bathing conditions in warm, turquoise bathing water, a beautiful chalk-white sandy beach, and when the two current owners came here for the first time many years ago, it was love at first sight.

Sample Itinerary
The Kenyan coast with its strong, beautiful colors and relaxed atmosphere, combined with luxury of the personal kind and a fantastic cuisine … here awaits you a holiday you will never forget! The long beach in Diani stretches for a full 25 kilometers. The beach is wide, but parts of it are eaten in the evening when the tide rolls in.
The coral reef is located 700 meters from the beach and acts as a natural barrier. This provides calm water conditions in the lagoon and calm waves close to the reef. Here are no sharks, but fine conditions for turtles, which often come close to the beach. The beach is perfect for kitesurfers, and here is also a nice school for those who want to learn more – H2O Extreme Water Sport Center.
From the hotel, local fishermen can take you out to the coral reef in its traditional dhow boats. Here you can snorkel and explore the beautiful tropical life underwater. In the hotel’s “beach house” you can borrow snorkeling equipment or a kayak. If you are into Scuba Diving, the possibilities are endless. Here you see colorful fish, beautiful sea turtles and whale sharks – you see them most often from November to March.
If you want to fish, the Indian Ocean is the place to go to catch Blue Marlins and flying fish. The hotel is happy to help organize your fishing trip. You can also take a bike ride on the beach, take a day trip to Mombasa, snorkel with dolphins or just enjoy the sun and atmosphere on the beach.
Eco-luxury – here you live deliciously!

Waterlovers works for a greener future by, for example …
The hotel uses solar panels to produce electricity. They reuse glasses that come from international organizations for the staff, but support local projects within flora and fauna and not least Waterlovers is part of Ecotourism Kenya.
When the hotel was built, no trees, shrubs or flowers were removed. It was the hotel that had to grow into and adapt to the local environment. As a result, there are now monkey families living on the hotel grounds, and more and more bird species live and breed here.
Sunshine4kids
The hotel is collaborating with the project Sunshine for Kids – a Belgian organization which was once started by a guest at the hotel. Schools are currently being supported in the town of Ukunda just south of Diani Beach. The support is about donating books, teaching materials, chairs and tables to the school. You can help by bringing, for example, A4 papers, notebooks, encyclopedias (in English) and other forms of educational aids.
