Kinondo Kwetu is one of our personal favorite hotels! A small luxury resort with everything included, and the place is also owned by a Swedish family. In addition to the fine rooms, the exquisite kitchen and the good facilities, you can expect true luxury – luxury in the way that you will find peace, relaxation and enjoyment here. There is only room for 38 guests, so you can always find a private corner. Here are opportunities for snorkeling or diving in the nearby Kisite Marine Park, where you can often greet dolphins. On site there is a dive master and diving equipment to rent. Other activities include kitesurfing, fishing, sailing or kayaking.

Kinondo Kwetu’s charm comes in part from the surrounding community and the town of Kinondo, where many of the hotel’s staff live. Interaction with the local community is important for the hotel, and a fund has therefore been set up, the main purpose of which is to improve the health level in the city and also to support young people’s education. The foundation helps young adults with i.a. money for high school education. Currently, however, is working on a project to establish a computer learning center.
The Kinondo Kwetu Clinic started in November 2008. The clinic offers basic health checks and various treatments – and all at prices that most locals can actually pay. The clinic is also known for its work with HIV-infected and patients with tuberculosis. You now also have a laboratory.
